Is the Word document really editable?
Yes. Visible text becomes Word paragraphs, styled runs, decimal/bullet lists and simple table cells. Pictures are separate inline images. Pages are not inserted as full-page screenshots.
Which PDFs can I convert?
Simple single-column English or Turkish text-layer PDFs with headings, paragraphs, lists, complete rectangular bordered tables and ordinary unrotated pictures. Up to 20 MB, 50 source pages, 200,000 text characters and 50 MB DOCX output. Pages must be upright, uncropped and no larger than 20 inches.
Will the layout match exactly?
PDF positions do not fully describe Word paragraphs. Reading order and simple structures are rebuilt, but fonts are replaced and paragraph wrapping, spacing and pagination may change. Text colours, table shading and decorative styles are simplified. Open and check the DOCX before sharing.
Can I convert a scanned PDF?
This version does not include OCR. Image-only pages and ambiguous or unsupported layouts are rejected with an explanation. A hidden OCR text layer with clipped or invisible text is not supported.
What is outside this version?
Multiple columns, RTL or rotated text, merged/incomplete tables, charts/vector drawings, clipped/grouped graphics, floating overlaps, picture-only pages, annotations/links, forms, signatures, optional layers and password-protected PDFs. Use a simpler copy; the original PDF stays on your device.
What are the picture and processing limits?
RGB, grayscale or indexed JPEG/Flate pictures up to 8 bits; advanced colour spaces and image encodings are not supported. Up to 100 image objects/placements, 16 MP each, 12,000 px per side and 32 MP including masks. Decoded pixel dimensions are checked before picture processing. DOCX has a 40 MB expanded package limit and 2 MB main XML limit. Cancel stops the processing Worker and keeps your PDF for retry.
