A few things to know.

Will it look exactly like Word?

Noto Sans replaces the original fonts, including embedded fonts. Paragraph sizes, bold/italic, spacing, page sizes, margins and explicit page breaks are used, but wrapping and pagination can change. Decorative formatting is simplified. Check the PDF before sharing.

Which Word documents are supported?

DOCX only: single-column English or Turkish body text, decimal/bullet lists, unmerged simple tables and inline JPG/PNG pictures. Up to 10 MB input, 50 PDF pages and 50 MB output. Legacy DOC, DOCM and password-protected files are not supported.

What happens to complex documents?

Headers, footers, fields, footnotes, tracked changes, text boxes, columns, merged or nested tables, floating/cropped/rotated pictures and RTL text are rejected with an explanation. Some advanced styling is simplified; this converter is intended for simple documents.

Which pictures can I use?

Up to 100 pictures; 16 megapixels per picture and 32 megapixels across unique pictures. Use ordinary 8-bit RGB/grayscale JPG or non-interlaced 8-bit PNG. Transparent PNGs keep transparency. Re-save JPEGs with EXIF rotation or colour profiles as correctly oriented PNG/RGB JPG before converting.

Can I select and search the PDF text?

Yes. Text becomes PDF text with embedded fonts. Pages are not screenshots, and your DOCX is processed in this browser without uploading its contents.
